Event Description:
In this program, an entrepreneur or team is given the chance to present their full business plan. Then, they will tell you what they don't know about what they are trying to do. The panelists and audience are there to brainstorm and help the entrepreneur think through gaps in the plan.
THIS MONTH: Black Mermaid’s Handcrafted Soaps & Products
Black Mermaid is a locally owned, artisanal soap company that creates handmade, cold-process soaps and bath products without preservatives and additives. They have an existing line that used solid knowledge of herbs and aromatherapy & also custom-made products developed to address customer skin care concerns. They create new soaps, bath salts, sugar scrubs, whips & body oils every season to expand their product lines. Sales are both to retail stores and direct to consumers. The company will share its history and plan for moving forward. At the conclusion, they will ask a question - something in their plan where they need help. Come prepared to comment, brainstorm, critique, interrogate and generally think!
