BIA Charter School

About Us

BIA is authorized by the State Charter Schools Commission of Georgia. The school opened in August 2016 serving grades K-6 and is now authorized as a K-8 school and is fully accredited by Cognia.

The mission of BIA is to provide students with an education that maximizes the realization of their individual talents and prepares them for success in a technology and information driven 21st Century Economy.

Our goal at BIA is to be the State Charter School of choice in Georgia.

BIA is a school community using a carefully crafted combination of instructional methods that we refer to as “Deeper Learning by Design,” where every student will…

* master a core research-based personalized learning curriculum,
* focus on project-based learning,
* experience computer coding integrated as a component of the core program.

We encourage community involvement in our project-based learning and invite community members to lend their time and expertise, as well as participate in our Project Exhibition Nights.

Our school implements Second Step, a school-wide social/emotional curriculum, enabling every student the ability to learn in a safe, caring and innovative educational environment.
