Georgia is ranked 44th in the nation in terms of poverty with a poverty rate of 18.3%. There are 3.8 million people in Georgia with a criminal record and 10.4% of teens age 16-19 are not in school and not working. But many of these at-risk individuals are ready to flourish if given a chance.
