A 1992 graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, Williams was a four-year (1988-91) member of the football team, earning second team All-Yankee Conference honors in 1990.
He earned a sports management degree from UMASS before receiving a master’s degree from the Woods College of Advancing Studies at Boston College in 2002.
Vince Dooley is currently a much sought after speaker and an avid master gardener. The Alabama native, who made Georgia his home in 1964, coached the Georgia Bulldogs to 201 victories during his 25 years as head coach and took Bulldog teams to 20 bowl games. For 15 years after his retirement from active coaching, he remained at Georgia as the school's Athletic Director.
Not surprisingly, based on these accomplishments, Coach Dooley was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1994. He is also a member of the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame and Alabama's Hall of Fame, the state where he played football at Auburn and later coached as an assistant under the formidable Shug Jordan.
He is also the author of the well-received memoir, Dooley: My 40 Years At Georgia.
Brian Bohannon is KSU's first football coach. He previously spent five seasons at Georgia Tech as the quarterback and back coach. Prior to that he spent six years at Navy as wide receivers coach and five seasons coaching wide receivers and defensive backs at Georgia Southern. He was a wide receiver at Georgia prior to starting his career as a coach at West Georgia. He has a MBA from West Georgia.
It will be both informative and entertaining.
