Volunteer Opportunity - Student Mock Interviews at Summerour MS

Volunteer at Summerour Middle School's Mock Interview Fair with Southwest Gwinnett Chamber!

Additional Information for Interviews

1. Students will bring a resume and a rating sheet to the interview.  Interview them for the “Job Objective” listed on their resume.  Pretend you have an opening in this field.
2. Each interview should last 5 – 8 minutes.
3. Students have been instructed on the proper dress for an interview.
4. Interviewers will keep the students resumes and rating sheets.  Stack them on the table and they will be collected to be returned to the student.  Feel free to write on the resume.
5. In your interviewer’s folder you will find:

• Suggested interview questions
• A sample “Rating Sheet” (the student will bring the form to the interview)

1.  In regards to your feedback, please keep in mind these are 8th grade middle school students that you are interviewing.
2. Please try to make a least one positive comment and at least one way in which they could improve next time in an interview.
3. You can make comments verbally or write them on the Rating Sheet.
