Andrea Sieber
External Affairs Area Manager, Georgia Power

Andrea Sieber has been part of the Southern Company family for 22 years and currently serves as an External Affairs Area Manager for Georgia Power. In this role, she is responsible for developing relationships with local, regional, and state leaders, advocating for customers and promoting Georgia Power’s business interests, including being a champion of diversity, equity and inclusion in the community.

Prior to this role, Andrea managed the design, evaluation, and regulatory compliance of Georgia Power’s $84 million Energy Efficiency residential and commercial programs. Sieber also served as the Nuclear Accounting Manager for Nuclear Development at the Company. In this capacity, she led the efforts of investment recovery filings to the Georgia Public Service Commission for the $10 billion Vogtle 3 and 4 nuclear construction power plant project.

Andrea is a graduate of the University of West Florida, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. In 2002, she began her career at Gulf Power, a former Southern Company subsidiary, where she worked in Marketing Services and in Rates and Regulatory Matters. After eight years with Gulf Power, she joined the Information Technology organization for Southern Company Services where she served as a business consultant developing comprehensive strategic technology plans and initiatives on a systemwide basis.

She is an active leader in her community and is a graduate of the Leadership Gwinnett class of 2023. Andrea serves on the board of several 501(c)(3) organizations including the Gwinnett County Public Schools Foundation, the Gwinnett Chamber Foundation, and Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful. She also serves as Advisor (past Chair) of the Asian Pacific American employee resource group and is the management sponsor of the Gwinnett Chapter of Citizens of Georgia Power. She previously served on the board of Exceptional Futures and Rehabilitation Enables Dreams (RED).

Through her involvement with these organizations, Sieber has personally and professionally invested herself in the local community where her passion is helping and serving others.

Deon Tucker
Regional Director | Metro North

Deon Tucker serves as Georgia Power’s Metro North regional director in the Atlanta area. In this role, Deon leads the company’s external affairs activities for DeKalb, North Fulton, Gwinnett and Rockdale counties. She also provides leadership and support for power delivery, customer service, sales, and community and economic development to bring value to our customers.

Prior to her current role, Deon served in Macon as a regional director serving 136,000 customers in a 22-county area. Previously, she worked in the Metro Atlanta Region as an area manager and assistant to the senior vice president. As area manager, she was responsible for the eight cities in South Fulton County where she managed external effectiveness which included serving as a point of contact for local legislators. In the role of assistant to the senior vice president of Metro Atlanta Region, Deon was responsible for supporting the senior vice president with company operations, sales, customer service, external affairs, and economic and community development activities for 1.2 million customers across Metro Atlanta.

Deon began her career with Georgia Power in 1994 as a temporary customer service representative. Since then, she has held various positions throughout the company — including human resources associate,  scheduling analyst, customer service supervisor, assistant to the manager of customer field services, field operations and development manager, region customer service manager, and sales and service manager for Georgia Power’s statewide, 24-hour call center.

Additionally, Deon serves on the board of directors for the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, Council for Quality Growth, Georgia Gwinnett College Foundation and Gwinnett Technical College. She is a graduate of Atlanta Regional Commission’s Regional Leadership Institute, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce’s Inaugural High Potential Leadership Program, the Georgia Academy for Economic Development and Leadership Henry.

Deon holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Troy University.
