Atlanta Regional Commission Board Chairman
ARC Board Chairman Kerry Armstrong, a longtime Gwinnett resident, will share key data points that highlight where Gwinnett County and the Atlanta region are today, and where we may be headed in the years to come. Attendees will hear about ways the ARC is working with local governments across the region to address some of our biggest challenges, such as housing affordability, transportation, and workforce development.
Kerry Armstrong has served on the Atlanta Regional Commission since 2008 and is currently serving his fifth term as the ARC Board Chairman. During his tenure on the ARC Board, he served on numerous commission committees and as Co-Chair of the Atlanta Regional Workforce Development Board.
Professionally, as a Managing Director – Development Partner with Pope & Land Real Estate, Armstrong is involved in the development and management of commercial real estate investments. He joined Pope & Land in 2012, and his commercial real estate career spans three decades
Armstrong is also actively involved in numerous civic, educational, and charitable organizations. He is the Chairman of the North Fulton Community Improvement District and serves on the State of Georgia’s Partnership for Public Facilities and Infrastructure Act Guidelines Committee. He serves as a Board Member and Past Chair of the Council for Quality Growth, Board Member and Past Chair of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and Board Member at the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce. Armstrong also serves on the boards of the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation, the ATO Foundation, the Richmond Property Group and J. Streicher REIT.
