Event Description:
The Southwest Gwinnett Student Juried Art Exhibition will be hosting the Opening Receptions and Awards Presentations on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at two local galleries. More than 80 contest finalists will have their award-winning art on exhibition through January 21. There were almost 200 entries from students who live or go to school in Berkley Lake, Peachtree Corners and Norcross.
Objet d’Art Gallery & Studios, Peachtree Corners, will begin the evening events with a Reception and Awards Presentation at 4pm. with Peachtree Corners city officials making the awards presentations for the winners in the following grades: Kindergarten-1-2-3-5-7-9 and 11.
Kudzu Art Zone, Norcross, will wrap up the evening events with a Reception and Awards Presentation at 7 pm. with Norcross city officials making the awards presentations for the winners in the following grades: 4-6-8-10 and 12.
This student art exhibition is presented by Objet d’Art Gallery & Studios of Peachtree Corners, Kudzu Art Zone and Norcross Arts Alliance of Norcross, and the Southwest Gwinnett Chamber.
