Terry Tucker and Brian Abernathy, from the Georgia Center for Opportunity, will lead us in an engaging conversation about BREAKTHROUGH, a local community focused program that is already garnering statewide attention.
 
You will

  • Discover economic burdens represented by those who "fall through the cracks" of the educational system.
  • Uncover the significant State and Local economic opportunity available by changing our current reality.
  • Get an overview of a grassroots, cross sector community effort working to address these issues head on.

BREAKTHROUGH Norcross is the community based initiative designed to identify key outcomes that lead to success at each stage of a student's life and support local solutions to help make those outcomes more likely. BREAKTHROUGH Norcross will create a road-map to success, from cradle to career, for every child in the Norcross cluster of schools.
